Resistance

While seemingly all-powerful during the Cold War, the Soviet Union and its many Communist states were subjected to protests and resistance from many fronts. From student demonstrations and underground newspapers to political movements and violent clashes with the military, the Cold War era was marked by people’s struggles for freedom from Communism and inclusion into the Western world.
