The Ceremony of Ascending the Holy Throne of the 17th Garmaba was held in Mtshurbu Monastery. Abeng Stu (1st, left), one of the four great living Buddhas of Garma Kagyudpa, came from abroad to attend the ceremony on Oct. 24, 1992.
